Hey hey man!

Just saw this somehow, I must have hit approve and not noticed.

But yea, I hear ya, I totally didn’t have the take-no-crap spirit either. I took a lot of crap instead.

Interesting how hazing, maybe even reading a story about hazing can cause people to initially resent someone and then end up forgiving and even forming strong bonds with them.

Something strange about human DNA and hazing. I think there’s some kind of hidden wisdom in that.

I didn’t have that kind of masculine, honor-driven, take-no-crap spirit when I was in High School.

This article is an excellent read about hazing…I found myself resenting Joshau, but then forgiving him by the end of the article…

I have started several businesses and helped my father secure patents for the production of edible mushrooms. I brought a brand of recycling equipment to the Pacific Northwest and have failed at all these ‘businesses’. But did I really fail? No. Not in my mind. The experience was exciting and it takes courage to forge ahead especially on an ‘idea’ and then start building a platform to support this ‘idea’. You are a courageous man….. failure was not the result but instead…. wisdom.

Taking risks is the only way to put yourself out there and see what you can really achieve. You can’t take a risk without a possibility of failure, but no failure is ever a complete waste – unless you fall into the unproductive path of self-loathing and try to forget anything ever happened. Failure is never a wasted effort if you can use what you’ve learned from the experience to strengthen future attempts. It’s disappointing when you don’t achieve the goals you were seeking, but I think you’re on the right track when you step back and look at what went wrong and how you can progress in the future.

Best of luck on future projects 🙂

*mofo

A typo on an abbreviated swear word is an unusual occurrence for me. Perhaps it says something about my use of vocabulary 😛
